This lot comes to us from small shareholders in the Bensa district of Ethiopia. Highly celebrated for the exceptional coffees and sublime growing conditions. The growing in Bensa, is done by smallholder farmers employing traditional farming methods such as handpicking cherries during harvest. Cherries are transported to the local washing station where this a meticulously sorted through the process of density sorting then through hand sorting. Lots are then laid on drying tables under the Ethiopian sun before being hulled and through the final stages of processing.
